Cape Town

Really loved Cape Town! Table mountain was stunning and I learnt so much about the country and history during a tour of Robbin Island (had a really good guide). It really is South Africas gem, was so nice to end the trip there as we felt quite unsafe in parts of Durban and it was scary driving around! But we met some really lovely people and its really sad to see the way some people live and the contrast between rich and poor. It made me feel lucky to live in NZ!

Really enjoyed the Safari....was heaps so fun trying to spot the animals. I have a new appreciation for wildlife photogrphers...was incredibly hard and lots of fun! Got to test my zoom lens out!

Hey Guys, how are you all? Hope your not to busy with portfolios....you will have to ass some pics! Im really missing not doing portfolios!

Anyway back from my Europ trip...it has taken me a while to get over it haha...had an awesome time! love Italy...it is amazing...the people,culture and food!! Really wished we had more time...started in Rome-really loved it all in Rome-vatican city is amazing, Todi-beautiful scenery and then florence for a few hours (missed the art as it was a monday and they close everything on a monday...I was very very pissed off...poor greg..) So I will have to find some time to go back to Florence. We then went to Venice- saw some amazing glass work...Austria-people were lovely and beautiful scenery, Germany- loved the beer halls-that was great fun, Prague- beautiful at night, Amsterdam (which is ver over rated really...crazy crazy place..odd experience really)We spent well over our budget..as food is really expensive in Europe!

Our tour from Vencice was very interesting...we joined top deck and I didnt know when booking that it is a bit like contiki so was not to impressed when we had heaps of 18yr old gap students...on the piss all the time! However we did meet a few older people around our age to hang out with which was cool...but it made me feel old as I wasnt interested in getting pissed every night!

I am still sorting through my 700 odd photos...so i will add a file soon so you can see=)When our internet is working again at home! I am off to South Africa tomorrow...am excited about seeing the family. I am hoping my sister is not as stressed out when I see her...as she hasnt been to much fun really...very difficult...I might have to just sip on some wine every night=)! Weddings aye! It is going to be very interesting meeting my future brother in laws family! And im not looking forward to my dress (its a bit short and tight for my liking)...I got myself a slimming suit..so the dress doesnt stick in all the wrong places...its really funny, but does a great job (since I ate a bit to much pizza, pasta and gelato in Itlay...dark chocolate gelto is very very good!)

Thinking of you all, miss you guys heaps and thought of you all through Itlay and even started thinking about what would work for an overseas school trip=)...hope the kids are working hard for you and that some top work is happening! miss you lots of love xoxox

Hey guys, just wanted to say a big thank you for the bday wishes, cards, presents really made my day. I haven't opened the presents yet I will do that tomorrow. Really made me miss you all even more. How were your holidays? Graham I hope you had an awesome bday..have been thinking of you, what did yo get up to? Out and about London

Hey Guys, thought I would add some pic's from the weekend. We went and had a look at Greenwich, they had a cool little market with lots of funky things (I find it so hard not to spend money at them), this only guy sold all these cool old stamps! Lots of yummy different kinds of food as well! We went and looked at the old Greenwich Royal Observatory, famous for being the site of the prime meridian, or 0 degrees longitude & the National Maritime Museum etc, so it was a nice day out.

After that we headed to Westfield (the massive shopping complex...that I get lost in every time), anyway they have this really cool Elephant Parade all around London, this big charity event raising money and awareness about saving asian elephants. I thought they looked really cool so I took a few pic's and have attached the link=)
