1st teaching experience in London.........

Hi Guys...just had my 1st day teaching. Didnt think I was getting any work today the got a call just after 8...and had to dash. It had a really posh name...but was not a posh school haha, I had to take a french class...which was really pretty good...then was in the learning support room, however I would call it the drifters room......they were kinda naughty, but I think it was more they just didnt get it....I made it through the day ok anyway...really struggled with all the names...willhave to work on that. Just found out that there may be another job thats come up to have a look at so thats cool=) Its Art & Photography at a 6th form college (17-19), am waiting for more info. My sister has got tickets for the rugby fri night (think it ireland/england, but not really sure) & we are having a pubmeal/ someones b'day sat night.....its all go here, no time to relax...which is good because I m already missing NZ a bit. Ayway....who else got prefect positions???? Am stoked with liam and abby=) miss you guys...was dumb sitting in another staff room today=( xoxox

UK week 1

Hi guys, hope schools going well for you all. Have been thinking of you all. Arrived in London at 6am after 30 something hours of travelling, Ali picked me up and then had a walking tour around parts of London...don't really know how I made it through the day. Then we were off to Scotland the next day...checked out Edinburgh & the royal mile...such a pretty place. On the Friday we did the loch ness hunter tour...a 13hour day trip up in the highlands. The weather was pretty awesome...very crisp but sunny. The bus driver was really funny..had heaps of great stories to tell... he kept us entertained the whole time. The Loch ness was really beautiful but didn't see Nessie=(. On the Saturday we checked out the new town in Edinburgh...and then back to London. I have been busy ever since sorting things out...trying to work out how to get around...its so fast and busy. I may be starting work this week...scary, but will be good to get some money=)
